By registering, you will be placed on the district’s qualified bidders list and RCCD will make every attempt to notify registered bidders of bid opportunities. Please note that while registering as a contractor with RCCD places you on the bid list for the classifications selected, it does not guarantee notification of bid opportunities; therefore, contractors are encouraged to regularly check the RCCD purchasing website for solicitations in which your firm may be interested.
Additionally, pursuant to SB 854, Contractors must be currently registered and qualified by the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) in order to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal for, or engage in the performance of any contract for public works, per California Labor Code section 1725.5. Therefore, all contractors must provide a current and valid DIR registration number on their application. Contractors must maintain valid registration with DIR throughout the current year and must provide proof of current DIR registration when bidding for any District project. Even if a contractor is placed on the RCCD Contractor List, the contractor cannot perform any work on any District project without a current and valid DIR registration.
