The RCCD Police Department strives to promote and maintain a campus conducive to academic achievement. Through integrity, respect and support of our community we are committed to enhancing public safety and improving the quality of life for everyone who works, studies, or visits our wonderful campuses. The RCCD Police Department strongly believes in the principles of community policing and problem solving. We will work with our campuses and community partners to enhance the safety and quality of life at all sites District wide. With your cooperation and participation and our commitment, I am confident that the time you spend with us will be safe and productive.
We have tried to provide you with information that can be a resource to you and aid you in becoming partners with us in preventing crime on our campuses.
The policy and statistical information is made available to you in compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (the Clery Act), formerly the Student Right to Know Act of 1990. In addition to the Clery Act, we capture data for the FBI’s National Incident-Based Reporting System (NIBRS), which is the national standard for law enforcement crime data reporting in the United States.
