Keri Then, Member - ​Area 5

Trustee Keri Then was elected in 2022 to the Riverside Community College District Board of Trustees, Trustee Area 5, and is the Chair of the Teaching and Learning Committee.

For the past 28 years, Trustee Then has called the City of Moreno Valley home and has committed herself to serving the community. She is a member of the Advisory Board for the Muslim Family Foundation; a member of the League of Women Voters; and a life-time member and former senior vice commander of Moreno Valley Veterans of Foreign War, Post 8547.

She was a two-term appointee to the Moreno Valley Unified School District's Measure M Citizens Bond Oversight Committee and was a commissioner for the Riverside County Commission for Women.

Trustee Then holds a doctorate in Business Administration from Argosy University; a Master of Science in Telecommunications from the University of Colorado, Boulder; a Master of Science in International Relations from Troy State University; a Bachelor of Arts in Social Science from Chapman University; and Associate of Science in Electronic Systems Technology from the Community College of the Air Force.

Trustee Then served with distinction on active duty in the United States Air Force for over 20 years. Trustee Then is married to Robert, who is also a retired military service member, and they have two daughters, Christina and Elizabeth.
