District Mark​eting & Communications Committee

Committee Charge
In support of the RCCD District Strategic Plan, the District Marketing and Communications Committee (DMCC) will work to establish policies and procedures that will provide guidelines and standards for creating and producing marketing, advertising and strategic communications for the District and its colleges. 

Composition 
The DMCC shall consist of the following permanent members: 

Three faculty members, with one chosen from each college in the District, as determined by the Academic Senate in consultation with the college presidents;

Three classified staff members, with one chose chosen from each college in the District, as determined by the CSEA  in consultation with the college presidents;

Three members of college administration, with one chosen from each college in the District, as determined by the MLA in consultation with the college presidents;

The Vice Chancellor, Institutional Advancement and Economic Development or Designee; and,

Three student representatives, with one chosen from each college in the District, as determined by the Associated Students leadership at each college in consultation with the college presidents;

Three public affairs representatives, from each college in the District;

Two management representatives from the RCCD External Relations and Strategic Communications department.

The DMCC shall have a faculty co-chair and an administrative co-chair. The faculty co-chair shall be a faculty DMCC member as determined by consensus of the faculty DMCC members. The administrative co-chair shall be the Vice Chancellor, Institutional Advancement and Economic Development or designee. Once selected, members will continue serving on the DMCC for two years, or until they resign. They will be replaced with someone else through the applicable determination process. 

Meetings 
The DMCC shall meet once every other month and shall be otherwise convened as necessary. ​
