Norco College Veterans Initiative Receives $5,000

​​​​​​Albertsons Companies Foundation has donated $5,000 to the Veterans Initiative project at Norco College. This is the second year that the Albertsons Companies Foundation has provided support for the Military Articulation Platform (MAP). This investment in MAP will decrease the amount of time Veterans spend in college by maximizing the amount of credits they receive for germane military work experience and military training.

Norco College is ranked as a Veteran friendly institution. As a result, Norco College has earned a Military Times' Best for Vets Award for the past five years. Norco College has also earned the 2021-2022 Military Friendly® School designation. This marks the second designation of this kind since 2018.

Founded in 2001, Albertsons Companies Foundation, formerly Safeway Foundation, supports causes that impact customers' lives.
