RCCD Celebrates International Education Week

International Education Week (IEW), November 16-20, 2020, is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and worldwide exchange. This joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education is part of the ongoing effort to promote global educational by preparing Americans for global environment and welcoming the world's future leaders to the exchange of ideas and experiences in the United States.
The RCCD Study Abroad Program, in collaboration with RCC Center for International
Students and Programs and RCC Multi-cultural Advisory Council, invites you to celebrate
International Education Week through virtual presentations which includes webinar,
music, arts, culture and virtual tours to international destinations. It is an invitation
to be globally minded while we are locally rooted. Below is the schedule of events;
please share with your students. A reminder of the day's events will be sent on the
night before.

crisis and beyond.
- Explore the stories behind the street arts from around the world - This is a Google Arts & Cultures project offering virtual walking tours of street
arts and graffiti from around the world.
- NAFSA Global Learning Podcast “When our borders are our front doors."
- A 360* global learning virtual presentation featuring the power of study abroad and how it can be accessible to all in the current
crisis and beyond.
