RCCD Celebrates Cybersecurity Awareness Month and Encourages Student Participation Through KnowBe4 Training

Riverside, CA – As Cybersecurity Awareness Month comes to a close, Riverside Community College District (RCCD) reflects on the importance of online safety and invites students to take proactive steps toward protecting their personal and academic data. To conclude the month with impact, RCCD encourages students to complete the KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training through the district's secure Microsoft portal.
Students can access the training by visiting our website and signing in with their @student.rccd.edu email accounts. This interactive program helps participants identify potential cybersecurity threats, practice safer online behavior, and build skills that align with cybersecurity best practices.
“Cybersecurity is an essential life skill in today’s digital age,” said Susanna Ma, Director of RCCD’s Office of Information Technology. “The KnowBe4 training provides students with valuable tools to protect themselves and their communities from online threats.”
The district encourages each RCCD college—Moreno Valley College, Norco College, and Riverside City College—to share this opportunity across their social media channels. By working together, we aim to empower students to safeguard their data and prepare them to navigate the digital world safely.
