The Riverside Community College District (RCCD) Foundation is pleased to announce the addition of two highly accomplished individuals to its Board of Directors: Jan Steiner and Martinrex Kedziora. Their appointments are a significant milestone in the Foundation’s ongoing mission to enhance educational opportunities and support within the district.
Jan Steiner, a pioneering force in the manufacturing industry, brings her extensive experience as the former President and CEO of Thoro Packaging. Jan's strategic acumen and dedication to innovation earned her numerous accolades, including the Spirit of the Entrepreneur award and induction into the prestigious Ben Franklin Honor Society. Beyond her business achievements, Jan's philanthropic spirit has always supported the future of printing, as shown in her $1 million donation to fund the purchase of a Heidelberg printer for RCC’s printing program, directly impacting the educational resources available to students.
Martinrex Kedziora, Ed.D., an award-winning educational leader with over four decades of experience, returns to the Foundation Board with a wealth of knowledge and a deep commitment to student success. His career, marked by transformative leadership roles from teacher to Superintendent of Schools, has consistently driven academic excellence and community engagement. Martinrex’s accolades, such as the Lifetime Leader Award in Latino Education and the Clean Energy Hall of Fame Award, represent his dedication to fostering equitable and inclusive educational environments. His return to the Board in his retirement signifies a continued commitment to influencing positive change in education.
