Valorie Piper Selected as 2026-27 CCPI-STEM Fellow

Valorie Piper, director of the Inland Empire APEX Accelerator, hosted by Riverside Community College District, has been selected as a 2026–27 Community College Presidents’ Initiative in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (CCPI-STEM) Fellow. The program supports leaders advancing STEM and innovation education and workforce pathways. 

Through the fellowship, Piper will engage in leadership development and mentorship opportunities designed to strengthen STEM programs and expand access to high-demand technical careers. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration at California Baptist University and remains committed to connecting education, innovation, and workforce development to support students and regional economic growth.
