ACCT Search Consultant facilitates a series of three (3) virtual open Public Forums
(Administrators, Staff, Faculty, Students, Community members invited to attend) to
solicit feedback to inform the development of the draft Presidential Profile. Presidential
Search Announcement with electronic survey distributed (before and/or after Winter
Break) to request feedback to assist with the development of the Presidential Profile.
(Forum times Via Zoom): 2/25 9AM, 2/24 College Hour, 2/25 4PM)
February 26, 2026
Search Committee Training and Orientation Meeting: Committee participates in orientation & training including Charge to the Committee,
Confidentiality, Ground Rules. Review timeline, application review process, and discussion
of interview questions. (Via Zoom): 10 AM – 1 PM.
March 2, 2026
Presidential Profile Finalized and Posted. Chancellor reviews/edits/approves Presidential Profile. Advertising and recruitment
commence. The Presidential Profile is posted on the College/District websites and
acctsearches.org. ACCT conducts targeted local, state-wide, and national one-to-one
recruitment. Applications submitted to ACCT at acctsearches.org.
March 30, 2026
Target Date for Applications (Open Until Filled)
April 3 – April 21, 2026
Search Committee members review and rate confidential applications independently through
ACCT’s secure web portal.
April 23, 2026
Search Committee Meeting: Discussion and selection of approximately 8 – 10 confidential semifinalist candidates.
(Via Zoom): 10 AM – 4 PM
May 13 & 14, 2026
Search Committee Meeting: Confidential interviews with semifinalists. Committee deliberates
and selects finalists to forward to the Chancellor for further consideration. ACCT
to conduct HireRight background checks and reference reports on all finalists. Committee
members (Via Zoom) 2 full days (approximately 9 AM – 5 PM each day).
May 26 – 29, 2026
Finalists visit the College, tour, meet with the college leadership, participate in
public forums, interview with the Chancellor, etc.
June 16, 2026
Chancellor/Board of Trustees announce the next President of Riverside City College.
July 1, 2026
Start date for next President of President of Riverside City College (or as determined
by the Chancellor and President-Elect).
