Why Are We Changing the Systems We Use?

Your needs as students are growing and evolving, and we want to ensure ​that we are supporting your success from the moment you express interest in attending one of our colleges through your time as an enrolled student with RCCD. To do so will require growth and evolution in the solutions we use, replacing outdated technology and processes that do not well support the needs of our current and future students.

What's in it for Students?

A modern and mobile-friendly system that will allow you to manage your course registration, financial aid awards, degree pathway and other academic information from any device. Additionally, our new student portal will include an innovative career exploration tool to show you the specific skills that your major or program of study will provide to prepare for your future career of interest.

How Will Students Be Impacted?

Project Nexus involves implementation of a new student information system which means that this project will impact how you register for classes, check your transcript, view your financial aid and manage most items related to your academic record. Primarily, it will replace the tasks you do today, in WebAdvisor.
